Oppo recently announced the Reno 5 and Reno 5F mobile devices. Both smartphones come with cool features ranging from their display down to the camera setup. Both devices are equipped with an AMOLED displays, quad-rear cameras, and support 4G LTE. Going through their specs and prices, they seem to offer a lot of value given the price tag attached to them.
Oppo Reno 5 Specs
The Reno 5 sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED FHD+ resolution display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display has a punch hole that houses the selfie camera. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 720G processor. It comes in a single configuration with 8GB RAM and 120GB of storage.
Camera-wise, the Oppo Reno 5 features a 44MP selfie camera with beauty effects housed by a punch hole on the phone’s display. This device packs a quad camera setup at the rear. The camera setup includes a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP mono camera. The camera app comes with great features like Dual-view video, AI Mixed Portrait, and AI Highlight Video for brighter and clearer videos in low light.
The Oppo Reno 5 has a 4310mAh battery capacity and supports 50W VOOC Flash Charge. Oppo claims to get 3 hours of video playback on a 5-minute charge. They also claim that it takes just 48 minutes of charging to go from zero to full charge. The Reno 5 features a super Power saving mode and a battery Guard that optimizes charging when plugged in overnight.
The Reno 5 is equipped with ColorOS 11 with features like Gamer Mode for uninterrupted and enhanced gaming experience. It also has Flex Drop for resizing apps into floating windows, and hand gesture support that allows you to control your device without touching it. The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner, an audio jack and a slot for MicroSD card.
Price of Oppo Reno5
The Oppo Reno 5 will be sold in Nigeria for NGN 169,000. The phone will arrive in two different colours; Fantasy Silver and Starry Black.

OPPO Reno 5F Specs
The Oppo Reno 5F is packed with amazing features like its 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ resolution display. The devices has a refresh rate of 60Hz and a punch hole on the display that houses the selfie camera. The Reno 5F is powered by a Helio P95 processor and packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
The Oppo Reno 5F also packs a quad camera setup at the rear. It sports a 48MP f/1.7 sensor as the main camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP mono camera. The selfie camera is a 32MP sensor housed by the punch hole on the phone’s display. The camera app has an AI Color Portrait Video mode that highlights the color of the subject while turning the background black and white. There is also a monochrome video mode that highlights only one color while turning everything else into monochrome.
The Oppo Reno 5F also comes equipped with ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 pre-installed. It has a battery capacity of 4310mAh and supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0. The phone packs an in-display fingerprint scanner, a USB-C port, an audio jack.
Price of Oppo Reno 5F
The Oppo Reno 5F is quite cheaper than the Reno5. It will go on sale for a price of NGN 129,000 in Nigeria. The Reno 5F’s will be shipped in two colours as well, Fantastic Purple and Fluid Black.
