The M1 chip has so far been one of Apple’s greatest development, bring breakthrough performance and power efficiency to Apple’s Mac series. So far, the chip has only been used on the MacBook Air, Pro and Mac Mini. However, Apple at its April 2021 event announced the addition of a new Mac line that has been built from the ground up to perform beyond expectations using the M1 chipset. This set of Mac Comes in 7 different rich and bold Colours.

Other Upgrades

Because the Chipset on iPhones, iPads and that of the 2021 iMac are the same, you can run iPhone‌ and iPad apps on your iMac. This allows you to play same games across devices and also use your iMac keyboard as gaming controllers on a wider screen.

The chipset also allows users to receive Calls and messages from their iPhones on iMac. Thereby reducing the need of switching between devices.

With the universal clipboard feature, you can easily copy texts from your iPhone‌ to your iMac.

What makes the new iMac better?

Older iMacs packed a larger logic board and thermals because of its power-hungry processor. Also, the GPU, CPU, RAM and other Components were all separate Chips in the system. But with the architecture of the M1 Chip, these components can be scaled down and placed on a much smaller logic board, thereby influencing the size of the thermals. With the help of the M1 Chipset, the bulky thermal System in the old iMac has now been replaced with two smaller fans in the 2021 iMac design. Thereby keeping the System Slim and cool while running quietly.

Comparing the 2021 iMac with older models, it delivers a new level of capability with its amazing display, badass Camera, dope Sound quality and M1 Chipset. You experience faster waking speed with the M1 Chip, apps launch faster, with faster browsing and better multitasking performance.

Apple Claims to have an 85% faster CPU on the redesigned iMac in Comparison to its previous models and also a 50% faster GPU than its previous models.
