OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition
OnePlus has teamed up with upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077 to create a version of the OnePlus 8T, known as the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition. This new device was designed to give a sense of the cyberpunk 2077 game. It looked great with amazing finish looking like it was pulled straight out from the video game. The bad news however, is that this device is in limited numbers and will only be on sale in mainland china.
The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition was launched on 2nd November 2020. Looking at the device, it feels pretty much unchanged when compared with the regular OnePlus 8T. This is good because the OnePlus 8T has a really great performance, 120Hz display and fast charging capabilities. All these features and more are fully available on the cyberpunk edition, but wrapped up in a whole lot cooler body.
OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition Design Review
The rear of the phone has a premium finish that comprises a combination of a glossy glass finish that appears to have been sand-blasted to give a frosted effect that looks a bit like carbon fiber.
Also attached to the rear is the Cyberpunk logo etched in blazing neon yellow at the bottom of the phone. There is also a yellow streak around the bottom edge of the phone as well, which certainly makes the Cyberpunk 2077 Edition stand out.
As part of the special-edition package, the phone comes with these pin badges. I haven’t played Cyberpunk yet, nor am I familiar with the lore of the game, so “Valentinos” and “The Mox” don’t mean a lot to me. I believe that Night City is the main locale in which the game is set.
The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition is a dual-SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM. This device measures 160.70 x 74.10 x 8.40mm and weighs 188.00 grams.

OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition Cameras Review
Considering the phone camera, the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition sports a 48MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture at the rear. Also, a second 16MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a third 5MP camera and a fourth 2MP camera. The rear camera setup also has autofocus capabilities. While the front selfie camera is a 16MP single camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition Display and Performance Review
The phone packs a 6.55-inch display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels at a pixel density of 402 pixels per inch (ppi). It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. The device sports a 12GB of RAM, is powered by a 4500mAh non-removable battery and supports proprietary fast charging.
The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition runs a China-specific version of OnePlus’ software, HydrogenOS based on Android 11, which has been given a Cyberpunk overhaul, with much cooler new icons and backgrounds. HydrogenOS based on Android 11 and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage.
What else?
Connectivity options on this phone include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. This device also supports face unlock.

The Final Verdict
The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition has pretty much same features as the OnePlus 8T with a huge difference in the physical design. Here, OnePlus takes a big leep into the cyberpunk 2077 world to give the device this amazing, rear and premium finish.
The phone looks and feels really awesome, and I personally think it’s a shame that it’s only going to be available in China. It’d certainly be on my Wishlist if a global edition went on sale.
