Infinix Hot 7
The Hot 7 series – Infinix Hot 7 pro and Hot 7 smartphone has been introduced by Infinix. Infinix has been able to deliver adequately high-end budget smartphone. After producing the Hot 6 series the company has introduced the Hot 7 series.
The Hot 7 packs a 4GB RAM and an entry-level octa core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC processor. A dual camera setup at the front and back. A 6.19- inches full HD display with thin bezels on the side and a 4000mAh battery for power.

Infinix Hot 7 DESIGN
The Infinix Hot 7 has a wide notch up front with a selfie camera, a chin at the bottom, thin bezels on the sides, a dual rear camera setup aligned vertically, a rear fingerprint sensor and a metal body.
The metal body is designed to give the infinix Hot 7 a premium look, and its edge curves helps for better grip.
The volume buttons and power button are located on the right side.The SIM tray and the MicroSD card slot are positioned on the left hand side. A micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone Jack and loud speakers are on the bottom. The Hot 7 comes mainly in three distinct colours namely; midnight Black, Mocha Brown and Aqua Blue.
Hot 7 DISPLAY
The Hot 7 packs a 6.19 – inches IPs LCD screen, a resolution of 720 × 1500 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Test conducted, shows there were no compromises in the display. The display can be perfectly used for viewing images, videos etc. without issues. This makes it better than most budget phones out in the market.
Infinix Hot 7 BATTERY
The Infinix Hot 7comes with a 4000mAh battery. It takes roughly 2 hours for a complete charge, from 0-100%. The phone can be used stress-free for a day without charging it.
Hot 7 OS
The Hot 7 comes with a XOS cheetah V5.0.0, which comes with many pre installed apps that can be removed if need be. Other features include a silent screen recording mode, game boost, bike mode, one-hand mode, whatsapp mode (only WhatsApp uses data in the background in this mode) and a freezer where apps stop consuming data if moved there.
Hot 7 CAMERA
The Hot 7 has a 13MP plus 2MP camera up front and at the rear. The front camera comes with a f/2.0 aperture while the back has a f/1.8 aperture.
Infinix Hot 7 PERFORMANCE
The Infinix Hot 7 is packed with $GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage and runs on an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC processor. The Hot 7 perfectly executes operations easily, such as watching videos, surfing the net, playing music etc.
When tried with a high-end game such as PUBG in full graphics, the phone kept lagging all through the process. Although there was no expectation of the phone performing well with high end games since it is a budget smartphone. Therefore, it is safe to say that this phone is not recommended for top gamers.

WHY SHOULD I BUY THE INFINIX HOT 7?
BUY IT IF YOU:
- Don’t need the best camera phone.
- Are not a serious phone gamer.
- Are on a budget.
THE FINAL VERDICT
The Infinix Hot 7 is a classy phone. It has a reasonable amount of RAM, internal storage, battery, display etc. It doesn’t have the best camera.
This is a budget phone, as such it will perform very well for an average phone user. However, if you have got the cash to spend and you prefer a phone with amazing camera quality, then this is definitely not the phone for you. Feel free to checkout these phones; Samsung Galaxy s20 Ultra, Galaxy S10e, Huawei P40 pro as they have great camera quality as well as design.
