Realme C21

This will be a hell of a week for all Realme fans. In anticipation of Realme’s flagship phone set to launch on the 4th of March, Realme will also be launching another device that week. Realme’s C21 is expected to be launched on the 5th of March a day after launching its flagship smartphone.

The launch date was confirmed by Realme’s Malaysia Facebook page. And according to reports from gizchina, the Realme C21 will sport some amazing specs and features. An idea of what to expect from this phone was sourced from the information on Realme’s Malaysia Facebook page, and a listing of the device on Aliexpress.

The Realme C21 will pack a big battery and a triple rear camera setup. The device will be available in Black and Blue colours according to the listing on AliExpress.

Realme C21 Specifications

The Realme C21 sports a large 6.52-inch LCD with a screen resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. Like most budget phones, the Realme C21 has a waterdrop notch style on the display. The notch houses the 5MP front camera.

On the back of the smartphone, we have a triple camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary camera and two 2MP sensors. Gizchina said that “We expect a macro 2MP snapper and a 2MP unit for depth sensing.” This prediction is made based on specs normally present in most budget phones. Aside the cameras, the back is also home to the fingerprint sensor.

The device will come with a 3.5mm audio jack included and dual-SIM support as well as 4G LTE support. Given the price tag on this device the absence of 5G connectivity should not come as a shock to you.

Unfortunately, there has been no information as to what Android version the device will launch with. However, we hope it sports Android 11 and Realme UI 2.0 software.

The Realme C21 is powered by a low-end Octa-Core chipset, the MediaTek Helio G35 Octa-Core. The phone packs a 4GB RAM and 64GB of Internal Storage which is expandable with the use of a microSD card.

The big battery on the Realme C21 is a 5,000mAh battery, which means better battery life. According to gizchina, the phone still charges via an old micro-USB port, which means longer charging time.

Price and availability

Based on the information provided on AliExpress listing, the Realme C21 will be sold at a starting price of US $149.99, INR 11,200 in India and 59,000 naira in Nigeria.

Based on the listing of this device on AliExpress Russian and AliExpress.com, it is expected that the phone will launch globally on March 5th. However, this will be confirmed on the day of the launch.
