POCO M3 Pro 5G

Sometime last year Xiaomi launched the POCO M3, recently the company just unveiled a more powerful version, the POCO M3 Pro 5G. This recently released device is a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G. It will come with a more attractive design though, and will be available globally. Although, the Redmi Note 10 5G is one that is cheaper than the other Redmi family. Obviously, the POCO M3 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 10 5G have virtually the same features.

So, we expect the POCO M3 Pro 5G to house a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of about 90 Hz and a DynamicSwitch feature. DynamicSwitch enables the display to automatically switch between 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz and 30Hz, allowing it to adapt refresh rate to content while saving power. This should operate at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Xiaomi said that the IPS panel tops out at 400 or 500 nits. It will have a peak contrast ratio of 1,500:1.

As for the cameras, the newly launched device has a triple rear camera setup and one selfie camera. The rear camera pack a 48 MP sensor as its primary camera and two 2 MP sensors for macro shots and for calculating depth information. While the selfie camera is an 8 MP, probably a punch hole.

The newly launched device will come in three colour options, Cool Blue, Power Black, and an attention-grabbing Poco Yellow.

The processor which this POCO M3 Pro 5G will be equipped with is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 System on Chip. It has a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh which supports up to 18 W wired charging. It runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.

The default version of POCO M3 Pro 5G has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Xiaomi charges a price of €159 for default POCO M3 Pro version. Another version of the same smartphone having 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage will be sold for €20 more, that is, €179.

The POCO M3 Pro 5G will go on sale on May 20. The price listed above will last till May 22. After which the default version will go for €180 while the other version will go for €200.
