Galaxy S8, S8+ and S8 ultra

A recent leak from Korea claims three Samsung Galaxy Tablets will be launched this year, may be this coming summer. This sounds valid as it is almost customary for Samsung to release high-end Galaxy S smartphones in threes. The upcoming tablets are variants of the Galaxy Tab S8 series. The most fascinating of them all is the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, it comes with quite exceptional specs for a tab. We will talk more on these tablets and their specifications in this article.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G are getting obsolete in the eyes of tech freaks and I guess they are expecting something more. The three tabs to be launched are; Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+ and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (though these names are not official at the moment). These tablets could be powered by a flagship Snapdragon chipset, that’s as much information we could gather So far about them.

However, reliable leakers- Ishan AgarwalFrontTron and TheGalox– revealed some details about the upcoming tablets. The leaks from these sources show that the tablets features fascinating specs, they also code named the Tab S8 variants “Basquait”.

What we don’t know

These leaks fail to identify the processor that will power these tablets. However, we suspect they will be equipped with a Snapdragon 888+  just like last year’s model. Compared to the other tablets in this Tab S8 series, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra seems to be exceptional with a 14.6-inch screen size the same size as that of some laptops. Hence, it can be used in place of a laptop though not in all cases. The competition for a better tablet device just got tougher especially as Apple tablets (iPad Pro) uses a faster M1 chipset for its processor.
