Apple’s Spring Event is still happening according to new reports. We expect to see the new iPad Pro 2021, AirTags, hopefully the AirPods 3 and more at this event.
According to reports by Economic Daily News a Taiwanese site, the event will be held on Tuesday March 16th. This report is based on tips from two leakers @LeaksApplePro and @FrontTron.
Don’t get too excited yet. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, one of the most reliable Apple reporters says there will be no Apple Spring Event. However, none of this state has been confirmed by apple yet.
Things get pretty exciting from here on as @LeaksApplePro responded to Mark Gurman’s tweet. In his response he said “Sounds pretty lined up with what I’ve been saying. As I tweeted 2 weeks ago, iMacs got pushed back. Mark really messed me up saying the event won’t be the 16th, will try to investigate a bit more.”
Apple Spring Event has always been a yearly event that happens every march based on its history. Despite the corona pandemic that might be a blow to the Spring event, it is good to keep our hopes up as Apple may choose to surprise us.

What To Expect From Apple’s 2021 Spring Event
There is a lengthy list of techs we might see in the 2021 Apple Spring Event. However, the report narrows it down to three main candidates, the new iPad Pro, a refreshed iPad mini and the AirTags. We also expect to see a new AirPods design, the AirPods 3 because of all the rumours circulating the web.
The 2021 iPad Pro will undoubtedly be the star of the Spring Event. Though there would not be a big redesign of the tablet, tips suggest an upgraded mini-LED display. There will also be new built-in magnets and 5G connectivity.
The iPad mini 6 could have a dramatic redesign given the 2019 mini tablet looks like its predecessor, the 2015 mini tablet. Rumours point to a smaller bezel on the iPad mini 6 which could stretch the display to 8.4-inches.
Finally, the AirTags. This smart finder will reportedly sync with other devices via the U1 Ultra-Wideband sensor to help keep track of things you love. This will be a rival to Samsung’s SmartTag, but we can’t say for sure until it hits the market.
Rumours have been circulating for a long time about the AirTag. While AirTags has been apparently finished for some time, it’s been a no-show for the last few events. However, Leaker Jon Prosser seems to think they are still on for march.
Other possibilities not mentioned include AirPods 3, AirPods Pro 2 and refreshed 2021 iMacs, possibly with Apple Silicon inside.
Updates will be passed as soon as we discover anything new on the upcoming Spring Event.
